Christmas Concert

Dear Parents

We have decided this year to make a couple of changes to our Christmas Concert, as part of our Covid mitigation steps. Normally we hold one performance, where we squash as many people as possible in to our hall, whilst remaining within our fire regulations. In the current Covid climate this is not a responsible move for us to make.

Instead this year we have decided to hold two performances, and will limit the size of the audience to 75 for each performance. The first performance will be held on Tuesday 14th December at 6.30pm. The second performance will be at 2.00pm on Wednesday 15th December.

We will initially allocate 2 tickets per family per performance. On Friday 3rd December any extra tickets will be allocated up to a maximum of 2 further tickets per family per performance. These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

There will be no charge for the tickets, although a collection will be taken at the end of the concert. This money will be used to fund the purchase of an outside cabinet for our defibrillator, so that it will be available 24 hours a day should it ever be needed.

We are currently investigating the possibility of being able to live stream the concert, and if this is possible we will provide further information nearer the time.

Children in Mrs Cranmer’s and Mrs Radcliffe’s class will need to wear ‘party’ clothes with, if possible, a Christmas Jumper for the concert. Children in Miss Dennett’s and Miss Lace’s class will need to wear a costume, details of which were sent home last week.
