At the close of nominations last Friday I had received one nomination form for the role of Parent Governor, from Darren Hope. As there was only one candidate there was no need to hold a ballot, and Darren has been duly appointed as Parent Governor to run from September 2020 until September 2022.
The role of Parent Governor is to raise at Governors meetings any concerns of the parents with regard to the running of the school. As I hope you are aware I always welcome parents approaching me directly with any concerns, comments (good and bad) or worries. If you feel unable to do this, or are unhappy with my response then please ask Darren Hope to raise the issue for you, either at the next meeting, or sooner if you think a quicker response is needed.
The School Governing body is now made up of the following individuals:
