Dear Parent’s

This Friday in school we will be holding an Art Day, where the children will work in mixed age groups taking part in four different art activities. This art work will then form the backdrop for our Harvest Festival and Awards Night.

Our Awards Night and Harvest celebration is being held on Wednesday 29th September, starting at 7.00pm, and is open to all members of our school community. The evening will consist of a celebration of the previous school year, including the distribution of awards and prizes, alongside some songs performed by the children.

We hope that all the children from Year 1 to Year 6 will be able to attend, in their school uniform, and they should arrive in school by 6.45pm and go to their classroom. Children currently in Reception, will not be taking part in the evening, but are welcome to come along and sit with you if you wish. We also hope that as many of last years Year 6 children will come back to join us as well.

The formal part of the evening we anticipate to last no more than 45 minutes, following which there will be refreshments and the opportunity to look at the children’s art work. The art work will remain on display in school on the Thursday and Friday, before being moved to the Community centre where it will be on display for a couple of weeks. Please encourage your friends and family to come along and have a look at it.

Best wishes
