World Book Day
Thursday 2nd March is World Book Day, and as usual we would like to invite the children to come to school that day dressed as a character from a book.
During the day the children will be working in their classes looking at different books, and the plan is that we will come together as a school at 3.00pm and share what we have been learning. We would like to invite parents to come along to this assembly and see what we have all been up to.
Cake Sale for Earthquake Victims
After school on World Book Day we are going to be holding a cake sale, with the money raised being donated to charities supporting victims of the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria. Any donations of cakes for this will be gratefully received.
Red Nose Day
Red Nose Day is on Friday 17th March. We will be selling red noses in school from Monday 6th March. We have 80 noses to sell and these will be on a first come first served basis. Please note that the noses this year are marked ‘Not suitable for children under 7 years of age due to small parts’. We will therefore not be selling noses to children in Miss Lace’s class.
