Day trip to Chester Zoo

As the final part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, we are organising a day trip to Chester Zoo for the entire school on Monday 4th July. We have chosen this day, as the next day is Tynwald Day, which is a Bank Holiday. We will travel to Liverpool on the 7.30am boat, and return on the 7.15pm boat.

There will be no cost to parents for the trip, apart from any spending money you may wish to give to your child, however we do not want to book and pay for more tickets that we need. Therefore if your child will be unable to go on the trip for any reason, please let us know by Wednesday 11th May.

More details about this trip will be provided in due course.

Sports Day

We are holding our annual Sports Day on Monday 30th May, starting at 1.30pm. The children can come to school that day in their PE kit.

Queen’s Jubilee

On Tuesday 31st May we are planning a Community Jubilee Tea Party, and would like the children to come school on that day in red, white and blue. As part of this event we will be inviting families and the wider community to join us in the afternoon, and again further details will be sent out nearer the time.

New Reception Children

Please find below details of our taster sessions that we will be holding for the children who will be joining us in Reception in September. Whilst we will be writing directly to these parents, please feel free to share this information with any friends who you know have children joining us in September

Thursday 23rd June from 10.30am until approximately 12.15. Parents are invited to join their child for lunch at 11.45am.

Wed 29th June from 1.30pm - 3.30pm. We will hold a short meeting at 3.00pm, where we will share information about the day to day running of the school, and give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
